Born in Mecklenburg, he studied product design at Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences, and graduated in 2021. In his diploma, he focussed on the topic of ‘beach chairs’ and sustainable, regional materials.
Freuschle has been working as a freelance product designer since 2017 and has also taken part in several exhibitions and trade fairs. His portfolio included, for example, high-quality knives from his own production. Just last year, in 2023, Freuschle received the Innovation Award together with Michael Schimmel at the Fangfrisch trade fair in Wismar.
Janos Freuschle works part-time at the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The aim of the materials library is to showcase the diversity and potential of a wide range of materials and make them accessible for teaching.
